I’ve had my 2016 R1200RS from new. I too find my ESA rear shock too bouncy in ROAD mode especially two up. As the miles have risen DYNAMIC seems to have become less firm and I now use it all the time. Thank you for your fork video. I plan on doing mine. I’m also thinking of renewing the seals while I’m at it at 44,000 miles. Does the lhs leg come apart the same as the rhs one? Peter

Yes, they come apart the same. You just have to deal with the wire on the lhs (it's attached to the cartridge inside). Good luck on the seals.

Great job ! How much did it cost you? Are you happy with the new shock absorber?

Thank you. The shock cost was about $1000. Yes, Mr. Baking Biker is happy with it. He'll give a review in an upcoming video.

Hi, whats the name of the manufacturer for the cylinder protection? Looks really beefy 🙂

The spring and the lower protector are stock on the R1200RS. Just the shock absorber was replaced by the TracTive unit.

Hai dimenticato la cosa più importante: Il mono originale SI PUÒ REVISIONARE! Inutile spendere un sacco di soldi per niente! E si revisiona senza fare fori ne aggiungere valvole strane!
