A quickshifter might be the most satisfying mod you can add to your bike. Most flagship sportbikes now include them from the factory and the one on my 2020 BMW S1000RR M Sport is the best quickshifter I've used on any motorcycle. @@Sergdoe6 in first gear hold starter button until shift light comes on and stays on. On the TFT will display how many launches you have available.

@@umumar5820 no, first gear works. Make sure you are stationary. If you are moving I believe will engage the pit limiting but not 100% sure about that one. Just did it once and 3500 RPM was too fast for my pit so havent tried again in a while.

i am loving my quickshifter on my 2020 R6 i dont use the clutch for upshifts i got the shifter stock on the R6 added a dynojet one to my R3 a few years ago its not as good as yamaha's factory one

Correct me if I am wrong, but the quick shifter is only used, when going up the gears and if you go down the gears you still need to use the klutch. Is that right?

@@badgerman23 well, not many... Since 2009 the bike and engine was pretty much the same until 2014 except for the front LED lights and traction control introduced in 2012. Then in 2015 a whole new bike with more 17hp and a new design was lauched. Now in 2020 we have the 2015 facelift with some other minor changes... Power is still around 200hp.

More hourly 100s in this video than any other. Careful with all that traffic though. There's a couple places where you have to slow down quick and I couldn't tell if you actually used the clutch or not. So, I guess your quickshifter works both ways?

I guess you only need the clutch to start out then, and then when you come to a stop. Otherwise you don't need it. I've never riding a bike with those capabilities so all my instincts reach for the clutch anyway.

I sold my 2018 Panigale V4S last month to get the 2021 S1000rr but BMW put a recall/stop sale on all S1000rr's until the front brake calipers are replaced with Nissin calipers😪 I was really hoping they would switch to Brembo's 🙏

@@manrayr1680 The V4S was my dream bike before I owned it. That bike was constantly in the shop for "warranty" repairs. When the warranty expired I didn't hesitate to sell it for the S1000RR. I've already put 4000 miles on the S1000RR without a single problem vs the V4S which I only put 2000 miles in 2 years since it was constantly in the shop.

Technically quickshifter is up and auto blipper is down but pretty much all bikes either have both or neither so quickshifter basically means both now.

@@iamthemobey Many lower range bikes don't have them, and premium bikes (S1K, V4R, etc.) come with up/down. Many bikes come with up quick shifters though nowadays. The R6 for some unknown reason does not come with one, but it comes set up for plug and play from the factory so ill count it. I have one on mine and I prefer the up only lol.

@@badgerman23 I think you're struggling with the English language. My statement says MOST bikes do (pretty much in that context also means nearly all). It says most bikes have both quick shifter and autoblipper OR they don't have both a quick shifter and auto blooper. I know some bikes can come with just a quick shifter OR auto blooper just that most of them come with both, or have none at all. I don't know how I can put it in more simple language for you.
