And now for something completely different !!! Is that from monty python??
Welcome to my my review of the 2023 BMW S1000XR....IT HAS A SCREEN AND ITS BLACK... there you go.. Done! you don't have to watch the video now.
Matt the scouser joins me today because it was too cold for Baz and Bella was out with her new fella.. sorry guys.
Matt is on his Honda VFR firestorm which is in mint condition for its age.
Anyway, I'm rambling for no reason coz nobody reads this.. blah blah blah my favourite colour is green.
oh and thanks to BMW motorrad Falmouth for letting me test ride the XR, it was a great bike but maybe not for me or the channel.

Welcome back. Nice to see a vtr had 1 some years ago. I have a 2023 s1000r sport but not heard anything about the recall. Will wait for bmw to get in touch. Bike is on sorn so no rush.

Great review, glad you told us it was black... makes all the difference. If you haven't yet, I would suggest a test ride on a Diavel V4... Love the Akita bike alarm.

That Knob Christmas vid will need to be played in tune with "we wish you a merry KNOOOOOB" LOL It was good of you to brave the weather for us lot. as for the bike to loud for the neighbours F'em my friend has a Harley-Davidson with a loud pipe but he still rids it to work in the summer at 5am LOL my zx12r with a Quill can ( close to straight through) and No CAT sounds very nice shakes the house the wife said and she can hear me coming so she puts the Kettle on she's a keeper I put a Akrapovic can on the H2 SX se to try and make it sound better but its got a massive CAT that the Exhaust would need Cutting up! I dont feel like doing that also Just tell them that loud pipes save lives

For the Uk the XR is definitely better than the S1000R but it’s a bit boring to ride tbh . I just got one it’s a really nice bike tbh

@@Mancs1000r yeah defo , I have the M sport with the smaller screen but it’s still good 👍🏾 the reason I say it’s boring is not a negative, it just does everything so clinically in a controlled manner 😂 I still personally prefer the R1250R and the S1000R i love the torque of the R1250 and the fun factor of the S1000R , I always say “ you could deliver pizzas on the S1000R or take it on a track it’s so easy to ride… a special bike 💯

@paulcartwright7228 yeah I agree, the s1000r is my perfect bike but that’s because I don’t do much winter riding if any, especially riding in the rain…. Perfect summer bike and very good on track, had it on brands hatch. The XR is the perfect all year round bike that can do basically everything you want it to do

@@Mancs1000r yeah defo 👍🏾I had the K1600 GT before this one ! You gotta try it it’s an amazing bike 1600 with reverse gear that eats up the motorway without a flinch ! It’s awesome
