Now that I can watch the entire thing - another awesome video Chris. The customer's R75/6 is gorgeous - much cleaner than my 1975 model. Inspiring me to a) adjust my caliper and b) clean my bike :)

Think it was the rim pressing against the back of rotor.?. Original wheels were stainless spikes. Who ever shamed the new wheel on could have messed something up? Just saying

Rebuilding my /7 caliper. It's robbery what they get for two f'n seals! Just glad I don't have to have a new one( $700)!

Chris - I was looking for a quick vid on adjusting the caliper (I'm replacing my pads) and of course looked to your library first. This video seems to cut off after a nice pan of a very very clean R75/6 (mine is a 1975 R75/6). Am I missing something?

Adjusting the alignment is that easy, just death-grip on the lever and close the cap nut?

Hi Chris, I wonder if you can help, I have an 1981 r100 rs which I have stripped and rebuilt, new bearings in the wheels etc, however if I tighten the spindle nuts up to the torque that the manuels say (45-50 nm) there is a hell of a lot of tension and resistance, and the wheels barely turn!!Is this normal for new bearings? Or should I just set them at a lower torque? CheersRoss

can you tell me how to remove the caliper altogether Ive got it loose where it swivels but removing the pin is a trick. 1977 r75 7 thanks. rob
