I had an XM to demo for a weekend. I didn’t like it. I think the X5M is a much better vehicle and it costs a lot less. By the way guys, the XM isn't an M Performance vehicle like you mentioned throughout the video, it, like the X5M is a full on M vehicle. Also, 👍 for turning the amount of ads way down.

Definitely something I would get just because I had the money.

I think it looks great, but I wouldn't have it in boring black. Unfortunately, when I drove it, I didn't get anything more from it than my X5 M50i, which was $6,000 cheaper. 😉

There are no reliable KZfaq reviewers out there, especially in the English-speaking world. It's hard to find channels that offer professional insights. Even some newcomers with limited knowledge and subjective opinions have millions of subscribers, flooding the platform with their content. They should all close their channels. Today, I went to the dealer for my M3 CS new model's break-in service and had the opportunity to test drive the XM (with 23-inch and 22-inch wheels). Wow, this was an insanely well-crafted vehicle. Especially the XM with 22-inch wheels had an amazing ride comfort. While the XM with 23-inch wheels had a slight uncomfortable stiffness during rebound (similar to what I felt in the X5 M), the engine, transmission, damping, and the vehicle's body control for such a large and heavy car were outstanding. It's unlikely that the Cayenne GTS or Turbo can match this performance (I'm not sure about the Turbo GT). Even with a discount, paying $150,000 for a car of this quality is beyond belief. It's truly the best. There's no other SUV competing at this level below $200,000. Not even the Urus or RSQ8 show this level of performance. I wonder what else could be out there? The X6 M seems unrivaled or even non-existent. It's not just about the 0-60 mph time. Lol.

It's missing the bronze trim that the M5CS has. put that on instead of the red line and it will be .. horribly stunning. This is the perfect Frankenstein. Slap a crazy M engine/front end and hang an 7 series rear seat. hmm....

It's a deconstructed car - and I like it. I would never buy it, but it will be a hit. BMW finally dared doing something really new.

I can't help but be somewhat annoyed that this over-$160,000 XM that costs more than my first house shares the stainless steel pedals with my wife's previous $50,000 330i M Sport. I think that, for all the engineering wizardry, the price tag demands more attention to detail. The interior does, in fact, look very nice, but to me, $160,000+ means we should get concept-car-esque levels of style. Oh, and the entire concept of this car as an M car is strange. An over-6000-pounds M car seems antithetical to the M brand.

I struggle to see how the XM is worth $30k more than the X5M Comp. For that extra $30k you get worse looks (arguably) and less performance (measurably).

everybody bashes the look but does it look worse than the X7? No. Does it look worse than the 7 Series sedan? Definitely not.

Hi, from Japan!! Oh, you tried the budget ugly. Great!! I often think why BMW makes ugly cars when they release new cars but here is wonder of BMW. I can accept the ugly and strange points of the cars little by little somehow . I would love this XM face in my future. We Japanese people think the kidney grill looks like pig nose rather than beaver teeth.
