First of all, what a cool looking Z3 for a Cool Cat! :) Sorry, just had too, but I really like the smoked out details. I have the same color car and maybe someday I will do similar. But most of all, thank you for taking the time to do a very informative and with great detail on how to lift the Z3 and safely. Nice job

I found using the plastic/nylon jacking points to be unsafe for axle stands, the stands slipped off the plastic jacking points when raising the car, much safer to move axle stand inboard on to the square chassis running the length of the car, then metal on metal, but next time will use a small piece of rubber to fit top of axle stand for extra grip.

Yeah if the rubber jack mounts are damaged they need to be replaced as well.

NEVER use Harbor Freight jack stands.

I agree there are many things from Harbor Freight that are questionable for durability. I did research before buying and watched Project Farm test them. These stands are fine. I've had no issues.
