First coil failure on my n52 put the car in limp mode. Previous owner had a crap mixed batch of coils, switched to Bosch as recommended & all good. Be well Dr.

Hi! Great video up there. My N52 misfired recently and I replaced the whole ignition coil and spark plugs with a brand new set from BOSCH. This solved the issue initially, but I'm surprised it started again after just a few weeks with low usage. So I'm wondering what else could cause this? Or has the new set of ignition coil and spark plugs gone bad?

Hi guys, oil measurement is inactive in my 2012 750i .... I have a code BSD DATA COMMUTATION FAULT and with the new original BMW battery I am getting sometimes discharged increased error ... battery already registered...btw I replaced oil level sensor also but same issue.....any help ?

I recently bought a used BMW and it's definitely misfiring and I was watching a bunch of KZfaq videos and started thinking it might be something to do with the gas pedal because sometimes push the gas pedal to the floor when it's running and nothing happens. Engine doesn't rev or anything so it really makes me think it's the thing you said at the very end of the video. Can you please elaborate on what you said at the end?

My 06 325xi had a VERY rough idle to where I just had it parked because of how bad it was and you will not believe what fixed it. Well actually I have no clue because I tried everything and nothing worked until I got tired and just ran the engine for a few seconds and turned it off and, I repeated this a few times until I turned it on and the car started running beautifully. Thanks for nothing KZfaq lol

i have 2018 x1 every morning when i start its ok but when i tried to put the gear on drive mode starts and move rpm starts to go low until engine will die, i have to wait 5 min to warm up then its ok, thx

Dean, I changed all my ignition coils check out fine. I also replaced my spark plugs. My N52 is still giving a boggle or hesitation like there’s a loss of power or torque typically in the 3K RPMS range. Could it be the Vanos? I haven’t changed them at all, there’s 150,000 miles on the N52.

Iv got a rough idle on BMW 120d e82 2010 n47 engine at 118k. I was thinking fuel filter change is needed and was thinking of the injectors so i stuck some Wynn's diesel injector cleaner through it , it helped but it still feels like it's misfiring a little. Could it be similar to this video ? I watched it but don't get as when you unplugged number 5 there wasn't any difference?

What about if i got a misfire cyl 1, no activity bank 1/2, i swap coils the misfire stays on one, if i let it idle long enough the cat gets red hot, also just noticed the oil smells like gas. Could i have a leaky injector and its just pouring fuel in causing my cat to get red? And filing out the plug causing my misfire? Or what should I check next. I really need some help :[

HELP PLEASE, my 630i cuts out on idle. Did have maf sensor fault replaced it, then battery died replaced battery. Now cuts out on idle error code on inpa P0602. Have replaced spark plugs 1k miles ago did check coil packs all was okay. Any idea is it possible camshaft position sensor or fuel pump faulty?
