Good on her for wanting to share this part of his life and facing her fears. you can tell he's taking it gently (relatively) to look after her! Top professional drivers really are on another level they can be completely relaxed whilst far faster and smoother than most normal people could ever hope to be! I'm sure I'd be equally scared!

I raced with augusto in a karting race in, uhm, 2005?. he had training during qualification but has no the permit from alfa romeo (was a AR driver) to race officially. I remember how was tremendous trying to be faster than him with medium-soft tyres. he was using hard tyres obviously. ;-) he was also very kind with every driver and bring a lot of fun on track. same year he reached the european championship with alfa romeo 155. great job farfus!
