popping those BMW shift knobs out is dangerous work. Several people on the forums over the years have given themselves black eyes, bloody noses, etc from it! I remember one guy's strategy was to straddle the console with his head out the sunroof, wearing a full face helmet, and yanking upward... lol

Selena, I applaud you and your team on these videos. The Discovery network could learn something from this, and no B.S. drama. Actually show the fabrication involved in doing this swap is something the networks don't seem to understand. This is what we want to see, no drama. Looking forward to the next vid.

Also, as an LS3 owner i must advise you, now that you still havent permanently installed it, i would highly recommend to get the oil pressure sending unit relocation kit regardless if you are gonna reuse the stock sending unit or and aftermarket one. Its like $40 but what it does is allow you to have access to the oil sending unit with a mechanical gauge conveniently right above the driver side valve cover instead of behind the intake manifold. If it ever fails, it a 5 minute fix up there. But in the stock location, with as little room as you already have, you will likely have to lower the subframe again and its too much work if the alternative is a one time cost of $40

Great work, move your abs module/pump these go bad from heat as is. Those header will cook it

Great work! The only thing that would suck is changing the clutch in the future. You would have to drop the whole subframe and the engine for it. Won't be too bad for you because you have access to a lift.

The best tip for removing a BMW shift knob is to start by getting an ice pack. Then pull on the knob as hard as you can. Once it comes off apply the ice pack to your forehead where you just smacked yourself when the knob let go.

Great work as always Selena. Is it just me, or is the CS Racing stuff not as plug n play as it should be?

You might want to bang in the body around the bellhousing, move the engine forward or do something to give you more clearance to access the bellhousing bolts. If you ever have to do a clutch your probly guna have to lower the whole engine and subframe and that will suck.

How are you able to work so easy and stressfree on your car? I'm trying to figure out why my S54 engine wont start after complete swap by myself from 316i. It has to be something electronic I wish guys could help me out lol im freaking out, because I checked everything... FML
