For anyone having trouble learning. Try to learn a footjam tailwhip. The hop into the trick helps you get used to getting your foot over the frame, and also helps learning how to catch the frame

The "low and close" advice was really helpful and seems obvious now you say it, I just panic as think I don't have enough time and I look exactly like your "how not to do it" example!

How do you get your other foot over tue frame when you kick with your other foot i have trouble because when i kick i don't know how to get my other foot up and over can you make a video on how to do fix the problem i am having

Might be late, but I was stuck on goofy tailwips too. I found it was easier to let it get under you and then catch both feet at the same time. Catching backfoot is very hard to learn. You gotta let it get under you and then snap your feet down and pinch. You gotta turn you bars right as it’s coming around to get your foot over the frame

I do whips identically as you but I can't do em flat. But I would say you need to swing with your hands but with small amplitude and very quick.

how do I keep my front foot off the ground?? . it hits the floor before my bike comes around.. but the bike still lands between my legs

Literally same. I can catch it with my back foot every try but my front foot lands on the ground around the same time as my catch. I dont get it lol. Everytime i try to spot my front foot i catch it but my bike goes way out and cant catch it with my back after catching it with my front lol
