Played against him in HS he hit a shot right over my head in right field and I hit a stinging shot right to him at short that he caught easily. Amazing player.

@@crazyzippyfumblefish there is also Manoah and Zeuch. Their pitching will be more than fine, they have also said they will most likely be getting a star or multiple decent starters from free agency in the coming years. Just because this team is from Canada doesnt mean they cant play baseball.

Bo Bichette gets me excited as a Yankees fan. He keeps increasing his value and soon he'll be too expensive for small market teams to build a team around leaving him for the large market teams. Hopefully he's more business smart than Trout. Look at the Red Sox. They are about to lose the World Championship team they built over the next 2 off-seasons because of their enormous payroll that's about to bust with these guys due contracts. Yankees are headed the same way in a few years. That said, I think the Jays have something exciting brewing that you can't fall asleep on them over the next few years if they can continue to build on what they have. What the Jays have now is exciting but they need more reliable pieces around these guys like Bichette and Vladdy Jr. If they play their cards right they have a strong opportunity to be disruptive in the AL East like the Tampa Bay Rays were in the Summer of last season leading into this season. With Boston on the decline and questions of the Rays being able to sustain their success without proper pitching the Jays have a small window coming soon.

Plenty of good players became known in Toronto. Encarnacion, Bautista, Carlos Delgado, Roberto Osuna, Roy Halladay even players like Roberto Alomar & Joe Carter weren't very well known before Toronto made 'em big time.
