The solution to the double-sided card and remembering which side it was on and not having a "back" is to simply use three-sided cards for the game.

It's a fair trade to get more places to live and closer hospitals for emergencies or better equipment.

@@tengkunazran9998 it's old. But what i meant back then is that some people dont want to live next to a hospital because of the sirens noise. My neighbor moved because there are ambulances coming by the windows about every 15-30 minute. And of course yes also in the night time. I've moved too and most ppl who lived in the block when i moved in as well. It's just really noisy (way more than anticipated) and a lot of people seem to not realise when moving in. That was my point. Obviously a huge plus is that you live close to a hospital in case something happens which is the first thing everyone thinks of. Just like me back then :O))

That's a pretty nice solution, but honestly when the game puts so much on the players to compromise, I'm more inclined to call it a heavy design flaw.

Two different “levels” of cards in two different decks. When you upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2, switch it with a card of the same type in the Level 2 deck.

That is the ideal way. I'm willing to bet the reason it ended up the way it did was to save on material costs, at the price of inconvenience for the players.

I have never really understood Card Building games.... I've tried to play them but always ended up losing and its just confusing.

same, Slay the Spire helps since it's a roguelike; but that also makes it feel more complicated (even if it isn't lol) edit: i understand them (a bit) now. You wanna focus on a deck that has good synergy with itself, so you can snowball into *stonks*. "Syngergy" is more on a game-to-game basis, but you kind of learn each game as ya play it.

Seconding this. It's not uncommon for games to be a lot more fun than they're explained, or vice-versa. Even if it just cuts to particular sections, it'd give us some "feel" of the game.

Thanks for the review. I was gonna pick this up a couple years ago because I like tabletop/card games that can be played sol, but I passed on it at the time. Now I'm glad I did pass on it.

I own the game, and while I cant reccomend it, its not a bad game. the double-faced cards are more of a novelty and there is probably a better way of going about it, its not horrible.

Clank in space is fantastic. Almost feel bad because to me, it outshines base game AND the other 2 expacs. But I haven't played the mummy one much.

I like the art, but that’s about it. Clearly they made the cards double sided to save on material costs, but I don’t think it was worth it for all the hassle.
