Tom Cruise, big ick factor! Ferriss Bueller's Day Off and Pretty in Pink, oh and Breakfast Club I remember most. I also watched girl in the picture, utterly unbelievable how that happened... her mother got me the most though, so weird how she didn't seem to care or try to find her.

Lost Boys was a great movie! I'm with you when it comes to T. Cruise. Can't stand him, and I've always felt that way. One of my Favs from the 80's was Christine. Being someone who loves "horror" flicks and cars, I thought that was a great movie too.

Love your colour choice and I imagine the fragrance is beautiful. The lost boys was our young and wild ‘manifesto’ lol, but then I think most of the cult faves around that time were 😄

Interview with the Vampire, not from the 80's but def one of my 90's favs. Sorryyy, I know Tom Cruise is in this one too! The book is even better :) Amazing job on this soap!

Saint Elmos Fire was a favorite in the late 80s. My friends and I were college age and lived in the Georgetown bars so it seemed apropos. I can't handle Cruise either but thought I was the only one.

I watched ‘Dirty Dancing’ for the first time flying from Iceland to Birmingham in 2018. I never saw it back in the ‘80’s and thought I would hate it, but surprised myself with how sweet it was.

Never have been a Tom Cruz fan unfortunately my husband owns all of the mission impossible movies. I don't know if Braveheart was from the 80's but love it. If you want a good laugh try Fried Green Tomatoes with Kathy Bates. I laugh my way through it every time.

Boardwalk soap is beautiful. I like the white base and colour drops. Your swirls are always awesome. I'm over the moon that so many people can't stand Tom Cruise. I went off him years ago when he became the Scientology bank account. Such a fool. 😍 😍

Labyrinth, The Outsiders, Willow, The Goonies, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Legend (but you're not a fan of Tom Cruise, I don't love him either but I liked Legend because it was that fairytale type of movie and I was into those back then. Still am actually, bc the world today totally sucks!), Explorers, Dead Poets Society, Fast Times!!! SO MANY!!!

USA Netflix: When Harry Met Sally, Steel Magnolias (late 80s) We have air conditioning in Houston (or we would cook our bodies!) With high Temps over 100°F (38°C) we had a few record breaking Temps a few days ago. Over 48°C.

This tirned out so pretty, I love the color combination. Is it the actual Boardwalk fragrance? It sounded like it as you were describing the smell. I use Boardwalk, but I'm in the States and we have a fragrance called Boardwalk. Not so sure about the UK, lol! You can get hold of some fragrances there that we don't have and I'm sure we are the same! Jill Gross
