I found you recently and have been going back and watching your older videos. I've been making soap since 2005 but I love to watch others and see their techniques, etc.

I use this method for years with my goats milk. I turn my goats milk into the ice and pour my lye very slowly over the frozen goats milk.

The tops of your soaps always look lovely but these are extra special.

Yep Soap kitchen is shocking. To post a 50ml Oud FO to N.Ireland they wanted £17!!!!! Rip off'!!! I need to find a new Oud FO. Any suggestions please Tiggi as to who makes a decent one? We're so disadvantaged generally with postage charges to N.Ireland.

For the last five months I've swopped out olive oil for High Oleic Sunflower Oil because the price of olive oil has quadrupled. I noticed Ophelia’s Soapery has done the same. Although using Sunflower Oil can slightly shorted the shelf life of soap I have to say I love it, the base stays almost white and continues after sap, it has cut my TD use in half maybe more. The soap qualities are exactly the same as is the bar hardness. I'm now thinking if I would ever return to olive oil at all. Here in the UK 5 litres of High Oleic Sunflower Oil is selling at £20 while 5 litres of olive oil pomace is £30 and straight up olive oil is £70.
