In this video we did our BOAT ENGINE HARNESS INSTALLATION. We finally installed our engine harness on our Mercruiser 5.7 engine, see how we did it, and the outcome of the installation of the engine harness. Our Boat engine has been giving us a lot of problems since the last mechanic screwed up on the last service, the installation of the circulating water pump. Since then nothing has worked well, and can't find the problem, and can't find what the Hell he did. Boat harness installation, see what happened.

Man this is maddening. When you scanned the motor did where there for codes IAC or crank sensor?

I had the same problem with a boat. At startup it would run fine and then once it warmed up it would want to shut off and it turned out it was a hairline crack in the distributor cap and when it got hot that's when that hairline crack caused the problem Good luck! 👍

Well, this is quite the puzzle, without throwing an error code on the scanner it gets very costly, so sorry for this. Coil, crank position sensor, distributor cap, IAC valve? Because the engine runs fine for 5 minutes then begins to misfire it might be related to the IAC coming off the cold start, Is the little muffler foam cube clean on the throttle body. Good luck.
