I just wanted to reiterate in different words what I said about a previous video of yours - your ocean and wave photography/filming are streets ahead of the other channels. You really do have the skill or gift or both to show the life of the sea itself and its impact on a yacht and yourselves. Thank you.

those waves are how they are, and if they are too bad then you dont have the camera out there. So those waves are pretty much normal.

Great idea to do an "at sea" boat tour. The focus is so different from the normal boat tours we all love to watch, but all the more interesting for that. Loved the notion of "having a holiday" up on the foredeck. We feel exactly the same way when we venture up there after a few days in the cockpit. It's amazing how refreshing it feels just having a different view of the world after days on end staring at a pretty identical ocean framed by the dodger. The reefing sequence was fun too - the music perfect to convey the "dance" required as you shuffled backwards and forwards between winches for the halyard and reefing lines. Another great episode, as always.

is there any difference in ''bad weather'' between different oceans? some people say the indian ocean is the roughest ,other say north atlantic, for some is the south pacific etc. is there a sbjective aspect of it where people speak from their own experience of only places where they sailed or there are also other factors such as currents, seabed topography? Example : a force 8 storm, would it look/feel different in north sea than in south atlantic? thanks

This video made me laugh more than any other. It made me think 'Road Maps... Roooaaad Maaapps!!!' I still have my trusted A-Z stowed in the car..! But not sure if it even shows some newer roads 🤣 Thank you for the tour - it really is good to see yous guys sailing in a somewhat older boat (no disrespect intended), rather than the brand spanking new Cats that seems to have become all the rage (even though that's what I would prefer...). You guys are so impressive! I know each person runs their boat slightly differently but it's hard to fault your logic. Love the 10l jerry can of diesel! I use paper charts on our last 1000 mile trip, but, like you had the chart plotter, ipad and hand held gps as back ups, all I did on the paper charts was log our position, which was written in the log anyway-- so that if the shit hit the fan, we could easily see our last position to read out on the radio. I'm amazed you've done all you have on two 125 watt panels. incredible! Phil PS--I'm a cat sailor-- hope this does not disqualify me? but we also don't have a gimbaled stove...
