That red handle controls the break to stop the anchor and chain from falling. It clamps onto the center axle and looks like there is one each side of the motor in the middle. Super cool to see!

Brrrrr, I lived up in Iceland for a year, so I know this cold. Being on the water is a whole different level of cold though, as you know after being dragged through the mud by a bunch of fur babies. Im excited for the next journey, it's good to see you away from the Bahamas, onwards and forwards lovely people. Love your videos so much, fellow Aussie here living in California. I never wanted this episode to end, I want to stay for the whole journey.

Part 2 for the win. Last week was a really good episode. Seeing you guys so happy away from the typical paradise in the Caribbean was super refreshing. Looking forward to the next few months of you guys going to Southwest Asia. And it is going to be so legit when you guys are moved onto the new boat and going on adventures in that part of the world. How beautiful of boat! For a long time in Brookings Oregon there was a massive wooden scooner (?) it was for sale. It was just breathtaking. I finally got the courage to ask to tour it. It was absolutely breathtaking! That’s where my love for sailing vessels came from💞

I sail in the crew of a traditional sailing vessel, very similar to this, although smaller, in Finland, so it's fascinating to see you experience this and how you view the differences compared to your usual sailing experiences. It always makes me happy to see you excited about new adventures, but this one feels extra special to me for that reason and I'm really looking forward to the next episode! ^^

I sailed de Noorderlicht years ago, from Tromso back to Holland, loved it. We even had a helicopter rescue at the Lovoten due to a accident on board.
