Ahh, I watched your video of the launch of the Sea Ray and noticed Florida registration on the side. I should have known better not to make assumptions ;-) Lithuania, eh? My grandmother came from an area that is now in Lithuania (Kaliningrad, formerly Konisberg) and mother was from Estonia, so I am familiar with you are located. Thank you for following along with our fun and travels! Feel free to ask if you have any more questions about the boat or our area of boating. It is beautiful in this area of the world and I love to share it!

What is considered the best marine grill? I have tried the smoke hollow, pit boss as they are on the cheaper side as all of these grills seem similar. Anyways netiher one can turn on in windy conditions but maybe thats just bc its a gas grill with flame? Im guessing only the infrared grills can actually cook in windy conditions?

Yes, you right the number place have florida registration. I bought this boat 2 years ago from there.:) And you surprise me about your grandmother... Yes, many years ago a lot people immigrated to USA from east Europe. When was second world war in this period nobody wanted to stay...:) And i want to excuse about my english knowing...:( To little practice.:)

We are not in the USA, either. We are in Canada. You are correct about the war, but my grandmother had moved into Germany by then. Of course, by the end of the war, that's where most of the fighting was :-) That is how she and my father ended up coming to Canada, back in 1951. Lots of history. . . And, don't worry about your English. My wife says you write better than she could :-)

Instead of using that piece of wood get a small c clamp and attach at the front left corner and you can rotate the clamp for different heights

Anytime that you wrap food in foil, there will be no difference in flavor than if you put it in the oven. But that said, this grill doubles nicely as an oven

It is the 'Stow-N-Go' model. A great little BBQ, perfect for the #boat :-)

Hi. The model is a 'Magma Cabo', available from West Marine (www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=16964&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=51150&subdeptNum=51158&classNum=51159#.Uuu07bTubSg). We use ours a lot and it works perfectly for two. If you are going to have more guests aboard your boat, you may want to look at the larger units that have dual cooking levels to get more food on at the same time. I see you are located in Florida. That is awesome. If you don't mind me asking, where, roughly are you located? East coast or west? If you are anywhere near Fort Lauderdale, the worlds biggest West Marine store is located there. We have been there and it's H U G E :-)
