I feel like when I get a sleep paralysis I just close my eyes and bury myself into deep sleep and that makes me not witness the collapse of my entire psyche at the hands of a shadowy hallucination. But then, I'm not sure whether I am having a real sleep paralysis or am just dreaming, but it's complicated... I'm in the same environment I'm sleeping in and am seeing a figure that can be someone like my mother standing in front of me, but then when I open my eyes I see the exact same image, except without my mother, but then I quickly fall asleep, I can also close my eyes and disappear into nothingness, like I did last time... Nevermind
@Machineaglaces3 жыл бұрын
@@crimsonlanceman7882 You can enter a lucid dream from sleep paralysis, that's practically what you do. If you can keep your mind awake a little longer you will induce a lucid dream, which often begins in a familiar place such as your bedroom (with differences from reality depending on your level of lucidity). There are different techniques to induce lucid dreams, the most "difficult" ones are those where you have to put your body to sleep while keeping your mind awake, some people do it very easily, for others it takes years of practice. Since sleep paralysis is a paralysis of the body preventing it from injuring itself during the active phases of dreams, I guess that people whose mind wakes up during these phases are more likely to do lucid dreams. I think that the hallucinations caused by sleep paralysis is the fact that you're one foot in reality and one foot in a lucid dream, mixing the two. Being lucid in a dream doesn't mean necessarily it's a good dream, you can have different level of "control" in it. A state of panic can very well induce a nightmare and sometimes I will say that it's worst that a nightmare where you're not lucid. So maybe the hallucinations come from that, also in some dreams where you're close to waking up, you can hear sounds or have some perceptions of your environnement even if you're 100% dreaming. If you bascultate between these differents states while having a sleep paralysis, it's not so surprising that you end up believing that a demon or else comes to visit you from time to time. A little trick, the best way to wake up from sleep paralysis is to try to move your extremities first, fingers and toes, then the rest should come gradually.

Make no mistake they are real and not a hallucination. In the premortal life the evil one and his followers were denied bodies because of their rebellion against the Lord of Hosts as one needs a spirit and a body for a fullness of joy, hence possession. The evil one in his pride wanting everyone to be forced back to the highest kingdom to live with the Lord eternally again, but the evil one and a 1/3 of the Heavenly Hosts were denied because than we would never truly experience free will and the most of mortality, and Jesus Christ's plan for an ultimate transaction, the Atonement was accepted, as no unclean thing may dwell with the Lord and none save it be his son Jesus Christ could enter his presence. By Jesus Christ's plan that by our own choice we may strive to return to the highest kingdom of the three to dwell again with the Lord or by our own choice in the two lower dwellings not with the Lord, for eternity. @Gerry Buckets I think that just by the fact this game is set on Middle Earth people would've liked it either way. The JRR tolkien universe holds too much significance to many people, even though the gameplay might be simple. One of the things that always caught my attention about the Orcs was how weird and evil they felt. Just looking at their facial expressions scared me as a kid. Every past LOTR game I played they felt like a threat, but not on this one. You might be right that given them personalities worked in this game, but they felt out of character, and I never fully got used to it.

@@tenyasha4398 OK boomer. The LOTR Orcs and special effects, for the most part, looked great and hold up really well after 20 years. The mix of CGI, model work and props works so much better than pure CGI, in my opinion. The Hobbit movies often just looked like a computer game cutscene.
