A small tribute video featuring all the Hand Jive clips (some speeded up slightly) I could find with a send off to Bob at the end. The music played is the London Symphony Orchestra's version of the Blockbusters theme tune which has of course, also been uploaded by another user against a BBC Proms backing.

Truly wonderful. This brought a little tear to my eyes. This is so British I was already 27 when this started and 37 when it finished, but I used to love it. I used to set the VCR and watch it when I got home from work. The game itself was also excellent and was regarded at the 'triumph of the nerds'.

As soon as I watched this again, I started doing the hand jive. For those of us who were teenagers in the 1980s, Blockbusters was part of our lives and brings back so many happy memories. Thank-you, Bob👏

Blockbusters would never have been the same without him, he was MR BLOCKBUSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The hand gesture he used to do so often to the dance that was him, by the way I will have a P please

@rfrancis51284 Yes I have seen that edition of Raise the Roof it was the last show of series 1 originally shown January 1996.

@JB1601 I agree! saturdaycbbc named and shamed! I always credit others and give copyright details where possible. What annoys me more is when you upload a clip that takes about an hour for it to be pulled due to 'content control' bs.
