Sandi has the most infectious laugh!I remember these episodes from the late 1990s and there’s one where Phyllida Law goes to pieces and Sandi rolls with laughter.

I met Heinz in 1992 during a recording of a radio show. Some famous people can be a disappointment, but Heinz was lovely.

I'm 11 years late but wind resistance can be lowered by tapering the rear of a moving object.

Professor Heinz Wolf has always been the scientist that explains science in a friendly and fun manner. Sad to see the late Alan Coren and Bob Holness. Sandi as funny as always.

Alan and Sandi had great chemistry. When the show returned with Rod Liddle in Sandi’s place it was never the same.

@@antster1983 Sandi used to edit Alan Coren's Wikipedia page to show his date of birth as much earlier.

"For the purposes of my joke!" Should be the title of Sandi's autobiography.

My dad hated Sandi Toksvig but I think she's one of the funniest people out there. My daughters took me to see her live show and it was extremely funny but also really warm. If that makes sense.

WHULC - we loved learning this sort of English Language via this series. Several volumes of dictionaries we as English Speakers will never read. Maybe online now. Would have taken years and will always be added to. Choose what WHULC means. Endless Fun and many wrong guesses. Call My Bluff. Subtext? It doesn't take years to prove or disprove stuff. I will not spoil the word for people. We find out at the end whether Sandi's "bluff" is called.

Actulaly, hes incorrect! The pointy bit would NOT be at the front... The tear-drop shape is the most effficient, with the blunt end into the wind!

I'd like to know that as well. It must've been the very late 90s, or a little bit after that I'd guess.
