Literally nothing is beyond repair, that’s as big as Disney. Guaranteed if he moved on, they popped out a couple decent movies, it would be all back to making huge money in a year or two.

So, Bob's now admitting to a symptom of the problem, but he's still failing to correctly diagnose it. The problem is Bob's decision to inject politics into every aspect of Disney's operations. They didn't "sacrifice quality for quantity", they sacrificed quality by pursuing social justice check boxes instead of excellence in entertainment. And it's destroying every level of the company from the door greeter at the bibbidi bobbidi boutique, to the highest levels of management. Disney has become a living meme of itself. At this point I can't even tell if it's hubris, zealotry, or if Bob actually rides the short bus. It's probably all three, but it's become apparent Bob isn't going to fix it. He has to go. He either knows what the problem really is and is unwilling or unable to fix it, or he really doesn't know what the problem is in which case he's just too stupid for the job.

Biggest mistake in recent memory IMO was removing John Lasseter; both the Disney and Pixar animation studios went into a down spiral once he was gone.

My best guess is the same as Vash. Disney/Iger probably thought that by spending big on a loss-leader they could make Disney+ a market leader in streaming. Once the competitors go out of business then only Netflix and Disney+ would be left standing and able to rake in the profits. This seems to characterise Iger's general approach of just spending his way to success. But this time he didn't spend big on a pre-existing successful franchise. He spent big simply on the promise that Disney+ could make or acquire IP that people wanted to watch.

If I saw bob iger, I would tell him(Tell the truth bog iger. Tell it that you failed. I wanna here you louder bob iger.) No more 2d animation, no more good stories(unique story line) and no more disney. Warner bros animation will release 2 animated 2d movies this year with the day the earth blew up(If this movie is release in november, I will be over moana 2(a sequel that no one asked.).)and the lord of rings prequel(a prequel that I wanna see over mufasa the lion king.).

LET'S GET REAL... Disney told over it's fan base to go away they didn't want THEIR money... so they did. THAT'S when Disney's financial problems started. You can't tell half the country they aren't welcome in your diversity equity and INCLUSION. But wait there's more... Disney Then turned on it's non political fan base... the fans of their greatest money makers franchise... and told them They Too are horrible people go away... because the fans didn't like the lazy boring movies. That's when Disney sunk ITSELF and it's streaming plummeted.

Profit for Disney + was actually very possible all you had to do was not chase away your fan base and their parents how often do parents leave their kids sitting in front of a Disney movie so they can do something else for 2 or so hours they burned that bridge and their own stocks everything that happens to them is their own fault

All I wanted from Disney+ was a depository of everything Disney had done in 100 years. Give me access to every animated short, feature film, live and animated, Mickey Mouse club, Disney channel shows, abc shows, every Disney afternoon animated shows…. Every season and every episode. If they would have done that I’d still be a member. The only original content I liked from d+ was “behind the attraction.” They blew so much money on terrible original shows. That is why it is not profitable. And yes if they gave me song of the south to watch tomorrow, I’d resubscribed immediately.
