Saddened by the passing of Mr. Sanborn. A very accomplished, soulful jazzy sax player. He said he was quote 'coming out of the blues/R&B side of the spectrum', Whichever it was, he appealed to my ears and sensibilities. Sympathies to his family and fans. One love.

I learned about Mr. Sanborn's passing two days after it happened, and cried. He was my favorite saxophonist. No matter the genre of music, not only did he know how to feel the emotions of each tune he played, he was gifted enough to make an audience feel each and every note and emotion as well. Rest In Peace and Power David Sanborn.

I still remember the Stereo 102 FM in my country. Pure jazz! And this guy was one of the favorites in the radio programming. We’re going to miss him

Maybe the reason I first fell in love with Jazz was the timeless aspect of the genre? I can only listen to top 40 radio for a short length of time before I return to what I will always appreciate most about this genre-- it seeming timelessness.

They sounded great then and they sound great now. I saw both separately this year in 2022. I imagine both are in their 70s but they both played and sounded great! Legends never get old, they keep getting better.

Mr. James & Mr. Sanborn- I need a third audio summit meeting of the minds. This timeless track takes me right back to summer1986 between my jr & senior yrs & like the classic album as a whole-sounds so current now at the same time.

Excellent points! That summer was between my jr and Sr years of college! What a time!!! I spent most of that summer in DC, working for my Congressman from Atlanta. The music was the perfect backdrop for my experiences!
