It was the summer of 1976 and I was waiting for my girlfriend. She was late in the afternoon. I put on this record. Memories filled my eyes.....this became my favourite track on that album. I still remember and visualise her whenever I hear this track. Thanks very much, Bob James.

I was 12 years old when I was sneaking in my dad's jazz albums 46 years ago and I loved this song. I just listened to it again with headphones on and it is my favorite song ever. Beautiful music

I played this at my wedding in 1992 in my local church in Ireland and everyone was mezmorised by it. The acoustics of the old church made it even more magical and by the end everyone was tapping their feet and vibing along to it. Happy memories. Thank you Mr. James.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one who liked this jazz music in the 70s and 80. This track was my favourite in the BJ Three album. Eric Gale and Bob James were at their very best in this track. I have played it about four times today. This is how good music sounds.

I graduated in 79 from High School I had this album in vinyl then in cassette then in my Sony Walkman CD player . I still get emotional when I hear it. Like the first time.

Its an ancient irish tune. The original is a poem written by Ulster poet Peadar Ó Doirnín (1704-1796)

This song brings back such wonderful memories for me. I was about 6 years old when this album was released. My mother played it all the time...she still has it! Even back then, being that young, l could appreciate the mastery of the album and this song. It always took me on a beautiful journey in my mind...still does.

It's makes me smile to see Grover Washington Jr. played on this song. My mother use to play it all the time when it was released. We also had Grover's album, Mister Magic as well. I remember these artists by thier album covers as well as thier great music. Albums, not CDs... I'm that old! 😂 😊

Someone should inform Wikipedia that Eric Gale was not born on October 29, 1974 -- he would have been 2 years old for this session. He's good, but no one is THAT good.

Actually, there are TWO guitarists with similar names Eric GALE (1938-1994) of Brooklyn, NY...and Eric GALES (Oct 29, 1974) of Memphis, TN.

I remember my Dad had this on Cassette Tape! He had this, the whole Spyro Gyra "Incognito" Album, which I think is a Jazz Classic, Maynard Ferguson's "Conquistador", "Mister Mellow", and "Theme From Rocky". I became a Jazz lover listening to these Classics!!!
