I once stood behind Doctor Graham Garden in the queue for tickets at Norwich railway station and sung, sotte voce, goody goody yum yum and he turned round and gave me an awkward condescending grin and rolled his eyes. But I never mention it.

Everyone loves Bob, for obvious and completely valid reasons. However, the mere idea of asking Susie Dent to play bongos is evidence enough that Vic's a comedy genius as well.

Vic isn’t funny anymore. He was in the 90s but he’s been far from funny for a long time. Bob on the other hand has gone the other way, was always funny in the 90s but in recent years has become one of the funniest people in the world.
