I personally believe that the couple that Riley sprayed on the house was either Huey and Riley’s parents or Granddad and his late first wife. I do believe it’s the former due specifically to Huey’s first reaction. Riley may be a lil delinquent but he’s truly just as talented as Huey, but in his own ways

i think its the latter bc the reference photo was black and white among a few other things. also huey made more of a oh shit thats grandad face rather than a touched my parents face

@@andiiiiiiiiiimaybe, but that’s a 90s styled wedding dress, idk how someone from Granddads time could get that. Huey is shocked for obvious reasons their parents aren’t around anymore. Most likely it granddads son which is why it pans mainly over the father also it’s meant to be mainly reminiscent for Riley as this episode was centered on him.

The ending song, Tom Scott "Today," is the sample used for "T.R.O.Y (They Reminisce Over You)" by Pete Rock and CL Smooth ( sample some of us been searching for since it's release). Regarding the people in mural it's still unresolved if they Huey and Riley's parents or Robert's wife.

This was a great episode mixed with lots of laugh but at the same time a sad moment with Riley painting his and Huey parents on the house. Huey doing a experiment on black television was also hilarious. But anyway I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Helwa.

It's Huey and Riley's Grandparents. That's literally Robert as the Groom with their grandmother @Echo-nn8dt

@@princeparish5001 you can even look it up, it’s their parents. They even went out their way to point out that Riley should paint someone that he lost, their parents died, that’s why they live with their grandpa. Otherwise they would live with their parents.

i like how riley learned a positive lesson without even meaning to. meanwhile huey was legit trying to learn something with his science experiment, and just ended up making himself dumber lol.

It's definitely his parents. Riley is a little kid, and was told to paint something he lost. What little kid would skip over the fact that both of his parents are dead, to paint his grandparents instead ??? Plus we see grandad at that age multiple times in the show. Why would the show creator choose this one time to have him depicted differently ??? That's clearly Grandad's son. They share a resemblance, but only because their father and son.

It seems there’s never been confirmation whether the couple is their parents or Robert and his presumably passed wife. I saw someone say the way the couple is dressed is more modern and unlikely to have been the way Robert and his wife dressed for their wedding, something like that

Thats Robert as the Groom with his late wife which is Huey and Riley's Grandmother. Unfortunately Huey and Riley's parents are also deceased but that wasn't a portrait of them
