Not worth debating, but I'm sticking with him meaning last one in the row. I've probably watched 100 of these paintings and never once seen him leave a huge hole in the painting like it would have been if he had actually stopped.

He had to paint every painting in the show at least twice for different camera angles because of the technological restraints of the time. Although he is seemingly just coming up with what to paint as he goes, he has a clear plan that he must follow. He is very talented in making it look very impromptu.

@Texas Faggot heard he was pretty big fan of learning how different gasses worked, got pretty hooked on it for a while, was really.... oh whats the word... *concentrated* on figuring it out. Even had entire camps full of people to help him in his work and everything.

Bob Ross was so much like Mr Rogers... Sometimes inadvertantly putting little real life problems into his work... Like the trees that "pass away and left their trunks behind..." Those little things are what made Ross and Mr Rogers such an influence in life... They both will be sorely missed... R.I.P. to the both of them...

Death is hard to accept as a human, and even in some animals, but we must remember, that, someday, we too may find our place beside God... And our loved ones, Friends, people we once knew... Will be there to welcome us home... But we must be patient, and do God's work... Just as they did... It will be sad, and sometimes, we may feel lonely, but remember, God is always there to guide us if we know where to look... And if we get lost, just pray... And ask God to guide you... This is how I deal with my everyday life... Because I know God will someday guide me home... I understand how you feel, because death is hard... It is sad... We feel we lost someone we love... But they are not gone... They are still watching over us from above...

This is the most unselfish man I have ever seen. Most people will NOT tell you secrets they have learned in their trade, but Bob is more than happy to share his secrets. Along with his attitude and personality this is a most exceptional man. Thank you Mr. Ross for everything. Rest in Peace Dear Brother.

My late father and I would watch these shows together in our family room, and would laugh everytime he'd whisper, "Lets put a happy little tree right here". Bob would also so confidently put a smear of Van Dyke Arugala or something on the canvas, and we would both say, "He DEFINATELY f'ed the painting up!" And then he would blend everything together and the painting would be perfect.... Bob Ross was the man. You can have Pablo Picasso, Ill take Bob Ross everyday and twice on Sundays. I’ve never watched Bob Ross. I had no idea that humans could be so.. nice. It may sound dumb or corny but he makes me feel like he’s known me and actually cares about me and if there’s one type of person that makes me want to do better it’s the person who makes me feel like a friend. I love Bob Ross for so many reasons. He didn't give a shit about other people's opinions. And when he painted, it wasn't "do it like this" he always told u to do it how u wanted to. And literally, Bob Ross kept painting and kept doing his show until he got so sick that he couldn't do it anymore. He didn't give a shit that he had cancer, he kept going and doing what he loved because he didn't care. I admire him so much and I'm still watching him to this day. 2018. He's such an inspiration to me. RIP Bob Ross.

Bob Ross is the man. When I was a kid the only TV station we could pick up was PBS. We watched him all the time on Saturdays. Now I have hundreds of channels and I still watch him all the time, especially on bad days.
