We don’t know that. For all we know his mind was a veritable hell on earth and his outward persona was an escape from it. Some of the most loving people tend to be suffering on the inside sadly. Like comedians suffering with suicidal depression.

My mother and I loved Bob Ross, but my mother died in 2020, so it's just me now. Many of our families loved Bob Ross. May they both rest in peace and paint for Jesus!❤❤😢

Whenever I need to reduce stress before I sleep I open up my Bob Ross playlist. I'm a grown man, 6 foot, 210 pounds of pure muscle... but this man makes me feel secure and safe from everything in the world. His smooth caramel voice, gentle reassuring strokes, effortless wisdom... I'm happy now..... I think I will sleep. Goodnight everyone 🙂

This man right here was the man who inspired me to be an artist. I've been drawing and coloring pictures since my toddler days but I remember watching an episode of Bob Ross where he was painting mountains and trees, I was about 9 or 10, and I was so amazed and inspired by it that I painted my very first mountain landscape. And since then I've been practicing drawing and painting and I'm 19 now. I'm still practicing and I owe it all to this man right here for inspiring me with his art. May he rest in peace

@@user_27357 They used to have only 15 second clips on youtube and you had to buy the whole DVD Set from BRI, but then they figured out they can make tens of thousands off views from each video and like Magic....All full Ross Videos are on KZfaq. I feel so bad for Steve, but hopefully he can keep moving forward. Its an absolute crime and they should be ashamed Greedy Ass Kowalskis. This is never what Bob wanted...

I miss him so much. When I was a little girl I’d watch him on the weekends or after school as well as mister Rogers I miss shows like that just a calming sense to learn instead of loud and bright all the time. I cherish those memories. Thanks bob

I just can't understand how someone can give a dislike to this amazing man and his breathtaking artworks. I'm 27 years old and i have always been amazed by his works since i was a child. Rest in peace, bob.

Bob Ross is the reason i want to be a kinder person. I realise I could be a better person to myself and to others. When I move to PA, I'm reinventing myself. I'm going to try to spread a little love to every person I see. They deserve it :)
