Our opener was this past saturday. Went on sunday evening with ten guys altogether. We ended up with 50 all blue wing. 10 less then our limit. Birds were everywhere! It was wild.

Hi Bobby, Jordan, Chase and the others, it was nice to watch Jordan first and then you secondly. It must have been on the same opener. Like we said to Jordan it's good to have some public land to shoot. There's none left in our area and what there was has been taken over by wild fowling clubs. Always cook your teal whole. They're a tasty little duck, as you know. It was good to see you using some three inch bismuth cartridges, they seem to be as rare as hen's teeth here! We can get two and three quarter in tungsten and bismuth. A lot of three inch but no tungsten and bismuth!!! It was good to see the children with the teal. Boady really seems to know his ducks. I live in Oregon so I hunt Sauvies island a lot and that is an actual warzone. There is always a line up about 50 cars all units combined on weekdays and about 75-100 on weekends. A lot of times, we will buddy up with each other so more people can hunt the mornings.

Teal are opposite up here in Washington...i have yet to shoot a blue wing teal, but there's lots of green wings..also saw a few cinnamons during early goose last weekend

In Nebraska lost birds count to your limit. Makes it tricky when you have 30+ teal come in and everyone sprays. But like you said It’s not always about getting a limit.

Was out at Cheyenne bottoms this weekend limited out both weekends! First morning in that fog was one to remember!

Man it's crazy how blue wing are so common there.I've never even seen one and Ive been hunting for 7 out of my 15 years.

Let me recall memories, there were a lot of mallards here & there when I was young, I shot some ducks at every hunting for dinner. I’ve never used duck call or decoys, still did hunting well. You should do a video on marsh etiquette! I had someone intentionally walk through my spread at shooting light on the dot, just because I was “set up in a shallow spot” and they “needed to cross there” even though no spot in the marsh is over wader height

It’s funny to hear get excited about green wing teal here in Cali all I shoot is green wings I’ve never seen a blue wing.

I've not yet been able to go on a duck hunt but watching you and few other channels got me wanting to start hunting waterfowl. I even joined ducks unlimited today to pitch in on the conservation front.

Opening morning out there looked like the movie the fog it was an hour after shooting time before you could make out more then a shape. 7 came and went and it was like” that appears to be a bird of some kind.”

Hey Bobby I don’t know about Kansas but in Minnesota the law is as long as you make an attempt to find your bird and you don’t find it you don’t have to count it towards your daily bag. But I still count it towards mine especially if I might wound one that I don’t know about.

I took a trip there and killed my first Mallard out there. Hunting was absolutely terrible! Went in 2016. We scouted and hunted 3 days. 2 of us and only killed 6 birds. Missed it in its prime....
