Phenobarbital stopped my Boykin from having seizures. He was having them back to back a few a day. It's been 6 years since he had a seizure after putting him on low dose of Phenobarbital.

My Golden Retriever was haveing seizures til I changed her diet to Blue Buffalo. Gave her meats instead of typical dog treats. After a week the seizures stopped. Good luck

I know a couple people whose dogs had seizures due to Nexgaurd for flea and tick. Something in it some dogs react to it. Just a thought if it could be something like that.

Good idea to keep dog out deep water. Usually, this condition gets worse over time. There’s human medicine that can help($$$$) Sams club member!! but we had to have dog put to sleep because they got to frequent and to long.

My neighbor had a yellow lab that would have consistent seizures. Someone told him to stop feeding the dog any dogfoods with corn as an ingredient. He switched foods and the dog never had a seizure again.

My dog has seizures watch out for the flea and tick medication it seams that the 3 month pill sets it off but the once a month is ok for him

Have you tried the CBD oil , I gave my dog it and worked . Sorry to hear that about Fred ! They do have different doses of strength too .

Should talk to your vet about it, also don't give your dog any CBD stuff without talking to your vet. Dogs metabolize that stuff a lot different then humans.
