The Torah does not teach the Eternal life of the human soul so your use of the word 'Bible' meaning both the Torah and New Testament is false. So the body appears to be new, likewise women being turned into virgins, untouched by a previous man, plenty of women had multiple husbands through their lives, so that's another indication it's a brand new body. @@mmss3199 exactly but limbs giving testimony also need continuation of body in some manner i think opinion of same atoms and accidents + new mass make more sense

@@reachedcertainty It seems the change happens right before entering Paradise. The ahadith seem to describe the change as occurring then. Likewise for Jahannamis. So a 100% change in body composition right before entering paradise or hell is in line with continuity and our limbs from this world testifying for or against us. I agree that the narrations do seem to describe our limbs/skin from this world testifying for or against us before or Allah. However the bodily change seems to happen well after this one on one meeting with Him as far as the ahadith seem to indicate. In the end Allah knows best.

This lecture, although very interesting, but gave me some insight to why many of our scholars forbade engaging in philosophy. It leads to no where and of no real benefit. We know we are getting resurrected for reckoning. We know that our Creator is all-wise and all-powerful. That's all we need to know, really. But with many making such philosophical arguments, I also understand why some scholars felt the need to engage in philosophy to counteract existing questions.

In this life, we are in a cacoon-like process of transformation. As Allah says in the Quran we journey from "...from stage to stage..." Until we reach Sakina in paradise.

Only through the quran and hadiths that have been provided we can not make anything up on our own, but in saying that there is a great amount of content out there in regards to Islamic philosophy

As your claim, authentic sunnah, there is no authentic sunnah. and one of grandouses lie is the most popular claimed hadeeth, Kitab Allah wa sunnati. Which is baseless and no where it is claimed authentic. Except some current wahabies. The prophet peace be upon him and ahleh. said while he is alive, what means " too many liers had falsely attributed sayings to me, any one does this (lied a hadeeth) intentionally he has reserved himself a place in hell . People ( mainly munafeqeen and munafiqat they lie about GOD wouldn't they lie about the Prophet!! Now we say this is sunnah, Yes , mostly it is sunnah but anti Islamic. We Muslims we must do what we claim refer any Hadeeth to the Quran as instructed. else it is false.

@@saliksayyar9793 I wanted to highlight the fact the most commonly propagated words falsely ascribed to the prophet( PBBH&aleh) Kitab Allhah wa Sunnati, this is false and no one in the Sihah Bukhari or Muslim or other hadeeth books said it is authentic. .yet it is taken for granted. Why we hear this almost every Friday in mosques. can you explain this?
