A man who'd been wanted in Atlanta for murder for nearly 28 years was finally caught this week during a routine traffic stop, according to the FBI.
The agency said in a release that Muhammed Bilal El-Amin was captured by the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, near Athens, in the course of the traffic stop.
It was not clear how deputies tied El-Amin to the 1994 crime during the traffic stop.
He'd had a FBI reward out for his arrest since the early 2000s, after allegedly shooting a man in the face with a handgun at the Oakland City MARTA station in Atlanta in November 1994.

My father got killed in front of me on my 4th birthday back in 98. His case is still unsolved. I’m 28 about to turn 29. I don’t care how long it takes. I hope they find the coward that’s responsible for my father.

@@howto-wiki8291 well... being on the run would allow him to not be arrested during that time. In fact, being "on the run" REQUIRES you not to be arrested during that time, or else you're not really on the run anymore are you? (See video) So, what if that was his first time bringing the law's attention to him? He looks young enough it could've been his first offense. How far into the loop are you?
@howto-wiki8291

@@erinralston no being on the run means the police know your name , address, and are actively looking for you. It would mean he couldn’t go ANYWHERE. Couldn’t drop his kid off at school, nothing. Did you even read the title of the video? It was a 25 year old cold case , they never knew who committed the murder… atleast not until he got arrested for having a suspended license. Pre industrial revolution it is thought that at least 30% of people had been involved in some sort of murder/ manslaughter in their life times. Or killed someone from self defense. Some people think the number was even higher and some anthropologists have made educated guesses about even further back. Usually split up by the industrial revolution and the agricultural revolution. Pre agricultural revolution most of humanity would’ve killed someone by the time they died. It was way way more common to have some neighbor who had probably killed someone before. The world use to be way more violent and there was no real way to solve cold cases or even cases where there wasn’t at least one eyewitness who knew the suspect. Even a hundred years ago it was extremely difficult if a murder happened and the perpetrator got an hour head start to distance themselves from the scene.

Man this cap all these comments are bullshit this guy most likely a teenager in 1994 dude look no older than 40 I was 14 in 1994. Although murder can be done at any age this post says wanted in 1994 murder more than likely wanted for questioning. Doesn’t mean he committed murder at all. If these you tube commenters were a jury panel this guy be convicted and buried under the jail. This is America facts are needed to judge. It’s also illegal to drive without a license. I have forgotten my wallet at home and was able to get the trust of an officer not to arrest me and take me to jail and I was grateful. So eff the comments and bullshit opinions.
