I think the lion is also tired, I always play tug of war with my belgian malinois. he's almost as big as me when he stands and I do workout but not seriously body building. we play until we're both tired, he manages to nug me little by little but I have more stamina than him so I can won in the long run. I can see he's tired when he no longer pulls the rope and just choose to laydown :)

Honestly, I was shocked I still had it in me last I went out and started playing with my dogs, I haven't been as active (outside of work that is... my job is fairly physical) since I was a kid and my dogs were ready to go back inside before long which surprised me since they always want to take their sweet time when there's mosquitoes and humidity out.
