Flying over oceans, I still prefer the security of 4 engines versus 2 and I also prefer the looks of the 747 over the A380 so thanks for showing that the 747 is still flying the skies of the world.

What is a real delight is to fly one. The experience with the -100s was a dream of amplitude and serene, quiet ride. Since then the Queen has been challenged by many and she still reigns. No licks against the Big One (A380)

Just imagine that the older 747-100, 200, 300 and SP were all designed with no computers, all done with ruler and pencil. Now those are some amazing engineers to design this amazing aircraft that's been flying for over half a century and it all started with a ruler and a pencil. Just imagine watching the first flight of this huge aircraft, a lot of people back then didn't want to believe that it will even get off the ground because of it's size, so when it flew it must have really blew their minds seeing this giant take off without breaking a sweat.

Glad you enjoyed it Ali. Our Australian photographer spent 3 months in the USA this summer filming 8 airports. I’m afraid I really have no idea of the angles 🤷♂️ sorry.

Now asiana have only one 747-400, HL7628 (not cargo) ㅠㅠ HL7618 has retired today, last flight was Incheon to Tokyo OZ101

That's the passenger version of the 747. The model is the 747-8intercontinental.
