We have a new Boeing 747 operator in the skies and as far as I know it` s also the first B747 ever registired in bulgaria. Compass Air Cargo is a company from bulgaria which usually operated a fleet of Boeing 737 Freighters. Most of them were based at Leipzig to operate flights for the DHL Group. Last autumn they added a first B747-400 Freighter which used to be an ACT Cargo aircraft. At first they operated a few flights for Qatar Cargo until they showed up at Liege in Belgium three month ago to operate flights for Challenge Cargo I assume. Yesterday the aircraft headed to Istanbul SAW where they will to some maintenance works. I hope it will return to Liege because I have to admit that I realy like this livery.
I also filmed some other 747` s, including a B747-400 of Aerotrans Cargo and a National B747-400 Freighter. As you can see summer is about to start and the heat haze season is already beginning. The image isn` t as clear as it usually is and that` s caused by the warm weather. On the other side we finally don` t have to wear thick clothes anymore while watching and filming planes at the airport.
