This video shows the island of Bohol in the Visayas region.
Bohol is a must-see destination for independent travelers as the island offers so much to see and do.
An island of 4'823 km2 with more than 1.2 million inhabitants.
The tarsier
The Philippine tarsier is the smallest primate in the world between 8 and 12 cm in size
Chocolate hills
The Chocolate Hills are an unusual geological formation made up of more than 1,200 cone-shaped hills 30 to 50 meters high spread over more than 50 square kilometers.
They owe their name to their shape and their vegetation which turns brown towards the end of the dry season from March to May.
Loboc river
It is the ideal place for a meal break, on a restaurant boat sailing along the Loboc River bordered by coconut groves.
Man-made forest
This man-made forest is also known as Bilar Forest.
It is a mahogany forest that lines the sloping terrain between the municipalities of Loboc and Bilar.
The road taken to get to the Chocolate Islands crosses it for 2 km.
The rice fields of Cadapdapan
They are magnificent rice terraces located 100 km from Tagbilaran, or 2h30 of transport.
A long but very beautiful journey.

A waterfall has two levels with many natural pools with turquoise blue waters ideal for a refreshing swim.
Plus an itinerary over two days or more with a distance of 210 km allowing you to visit all the sites.
