Probably more so Perseus tbh. Boit was still struggling vs armies with 3-4 Fire Giants until he could OHKO them.

Hey boit cool video just one question. Why would you go full cavallry against hersias? Shouldnt they be the worst unit choice in this matchup?

I didn't is the short of it. I stopped them at about 9 mins into this game. Hippikon are a great unit at dealing with the hersir before hall of thanes comes through. After hall of thanes is in I need hypaspist to deal with them. Hippikon can be a good defensive resource to hold off the hersir raids while going for the heroic age. Essentially my strategy here is to play around every strength of the Loki and survive to the point where I can actually win. (the late game)

a thing I highly value especially against norse is copper mail hippikon 10% armor goes up to 20% it doubles the effective hp of basically all your units for only 300 resources super worth to maybe cut 2-3 hippikon and get it as soon as your armory is down cause you basically only need mail upgrades against norse so only half the costs

Copper mail decreases hack vulnerabilty by 10% (so it increases hack armour from 10% to 19%), which increases effective hp by 11.1... %, it doesn't double it. To double effective hp it would need to increase hack armour from 10% to 55% (i.e. decrease hack vunerability by 50%). It's still a good upgrade but early game it's more efficient to spend resources on larger army.

no, but they deal around the same damage against each other I think and like the usual deal close up infantry beats archers and axemen are basically short range archers
