It just gets so old seeing norse get SMACKED by eggy. Absolutely no defense against this roc. Yeah it was micro'd well but no one has a chance of taking that crap down.

Norse has Ballistae, which are basically a mixture of catapult and archer. And while their buildings are weak, they can build them much more flexible without wasting villager time to do so, so they should naturally have much more buildings on the map than other civs

Other thing, Norse have more expensive docks but at the same time they're weaker wtf! And if u see it right every other civ have hard counter units for Norse builders!!!? How is that ok, as Norse u shall buy all hard counter upgrades like Bravery, Swine array, sons of sleipnir, huntress axe, and even with that nose never get a hard counter infantry unit, and don't think Norse can just Sam buildings fast enough in the front, we don't have a bonus for building like poseidon, u HAVE to take army and start building so don't come present Norse building like an op feature

@@TheJuliusCo1 of the absolutely most glaring weakness in my opinion is how utterly weak the Norse siege is compared to other civs. Catapults take like 3-4 shots to take down any Norse building cuz it’s weaker. The Norse don’t have a ranged siege weapon like other sieges because the ballistae is so weak against buildings. The battering ram takes longer to take a down a building compared to other civs and although it survives a tad bit longer, it’s not as busted as catapults or the Greek/eggy siege towers. I don’t understand why eggy has access to 3 op siege units in siege towers, catapults, and elephants. The devs seemed to really loved the Egyptians and Greeks a bit too much. The Norse seems to have so many innate weaknesses.

Same. I feel like the Norse need some kind of buff, specially Loki (he loses way too often, almost always in my experience). Also, wasn't it better to use jarls here (perhaps also huskarls and/or siege) with Freja and Njord (also providing water control), since they are Odin's speciality?

It's not that they're broken. They just weren't part of the original game, which is what Voobly is built on. The original game didn't have kopesh, bogsveigr, physicians, or the chinese. Those were all added in extended edition. The coding and models for them don't exist in the original version. Adding them to Voobly isn't technologically feasible (or legal).

Roc drops is such a busted aspect of the game. Surprised no patch has come to deal with it. Vs Norse especially

@@fayaztom If it had its speed lowered to 3.00 It may be okay, that way most units could catch up and keep dealing damage to it, and it´d be a risk having so many valueable units in it.

Agree. The fact that a fire giant can’t keep up … you need 5 throwing axe men with an upgrade to kill it. PLUS if the roc has the free myth units like a roc they’ll kill them anyway… Boit pls sort :)
