I like large stockman's. That one looks real nice. From what I understand, these are assembled in Germany with parts from "Global Partners". (China). I have one in smooth black bone, and it's pretty nice. The price ain't bad.👍

I love German boker knives. I have several vintage boker tree brand Barlow knives from the 60s and 70s. Great knives, that stockman looks sweet.

It's made in Germany but not in Solingen, it's made in a factory in former East-Germany. The wages are lower in that part of Germany and that's why they can make these cheaper then the ones from Solingen.(only knives that are made in Solingen have Solingen added on the tank stamp) Not bad knives, absolutely not, just good knives that are made in Germany but not the high-end segment they make in Solingen. I love this one, very nice black bone scales, nice bolsters. Thank you for the review TK.

Thrifty if it does not say sologen on that tang believe me it’s not made in Germany!!!!!! Its a dead giveaway it must say sologen Germany on that tang stamp take it for what it’s worth!!!!!! Thanks buddy!!!!! all in all it’s still a nice piece!!!!!

Google says it was made in Soligen Germany. Boker is a brand of knives-under Boker USA Inc-manufactured in Solingen, Germany. Only knives branded with the tree symbol are manufactured in Solingen because the tree is used as a sign of quality, so any knives that feature the tree or are labeled "Tree Brand" typically falls under Boker.

The Boker Tree Brand slimline trapper is a sweet knife for the price. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. If you don't have one yet, and enjoy the pattern, the model is 110735.

Had one for a while. Good QC, it's been out a few times and it's a good little blade. I saw the folders on Aliexpress with the tree shield, look very similar, couldn't resist ordering one to see what the deal is and compare the two. The Chinese assembled Bokers?? Who knows??

Information i read says assembled in Germany from Chinese mfg. parts. It would say Solingen on the tang plus the word Germany if it was 100 percent made in Germany. Plus it would cost around 100 dollars. Good video.

Don't quote me on this but I believe the Germany shields are made in their Solingen factory from parts manufactured in the Far East.

Nice looking knife and looks very well made for the money, wouldn't take much to make it UK legal by the look of your measurements file a bit off the tip and good to go.

German knives USED TO have SOLIGEN STEEL on the base of the blade. Some of the knives are getting made overseas.

I have a Boker Tree Brand Stockman 9884 USA. I traded something for it at a Boy Scout Campout. does anyone know if it has Slogen Steel. Was the steel made in Germany or USA?

I just got the red bone trapper off of Ebay. I got snookered and paid over 60. I guess I should have researched a bit before I pulled the trigger. But I do like the knife so what can you do.

I think you blew the whistle on this a while back and I stopped buying them after a couple I have a blue Congress that is really nice but doesn’t look like a Solingen Boker My guess is parts made in China or mostly made there and assembled in Germany Not sure what EU rules are but US rules used to be no more than 29 percent foreign content to be called USA made Thanks for calling our attention Nice knives and prices and an introduction into Bokers anyway

The discussions about where, exactly, any Boker knife is made are deep and wide - all pointing to the need for Boker to come clean about their provenance of manufacture. I suspect the reason they don’t is to protect their often inflated pricing that many, unfortunately, fall for.

Nice knife for the price, I have the trapper version. Pretty sure it is made in China. Steel is just okay, Case Tru-sharp takes a better edge in my opinion.

Nice one although this one's from China. Böker knives made in Germany are way more expensive, starting at 80€, and they have just the tree in the shield, no Germany imprint 🤔

The boker plus is from China, boker USA is US, the tree brand or arborillo is from South America. I think 🤔

I think is looks like a nice well-made knife. I don’t seeing it; being made in Germany for $20 dollars. It seems some knife makers are good at skirting the rules of the origins of where their knives are made. 😐

I bought one of these "made in germany" bokers. It might be assembled in germany, but the materials were Chinese. Ive had enough chinese knives to know. Dont waste your money, its a rough rider assembled by germans.

It’s very nice. My intuition tells me wages are too high in Germany to produce a knife that cheap. Probably made in China and they put the shield on in Germany so they can claim German made. I think country of origin is very flexible in Germany, but Solingen is not. If it says Solingen it is made in Germany. Still is a nice knife.

Chinese parts and German assembly. Only Solingen-stamped knives are actually made in Germany and even those are nothing to get excited about anymore. I have a Boker Scout, one of the 150th anniversary models that were made start to finish by a single craftsman. I paid $180 for it (on sale) and my Buck 110 has better fit and finish. Current Boker Scout prices are upwards of $300+ while their actual value and build quality remains equal to or less than a $60 Buck 110. While I'm not a fan of the black scales, the fit on this particular "German" knife is probably the best I have seen to date.

German law is very weak on labeling. If it was put in the box in Germany it can be labeled made in Germany. That's a Chinese knife.
