In this video, I show you how to rebuild any Tecumseh snow king engine using my trusty old Bolens 824A snow blower. More videos on this machine are coming in the next few weeks, Enjoy!

Hi, I am currently working on the exact same snowblower. I have had it around 20 years now and it has been great! Do you happen to know offhand the engine ID number? I believe my needs a complete PCV valve setup, mine is blowing oil all over the place. I also noticed the head gasket leaking as well. Starting to wonder if this machine is worth all the repairs or not? Then again, but garbage they sell these days at the big box stores isn't worth it either. Maybe I'm better off putting the work and effort into an Old Reliable machine 👍 thanks for any and all help you can offer! I am in New England as well, and of course this happened after our first 1 foot storm

Did you replace the rubber seat for the needle? They dry and rot in time. I use a pick to remove the old one and use a flat tipped punch to install the new one.
