Are your shift points at 6500? Are you running a no torque management tune at the track? I get the best times with a slight 1200 rpm or so brake stall

Troy Rombyer shift points are at 6.9k and no torque management. First always short shifts in drive for some reason

6900 is too high imo. I’ve got the best times with them all at 6500. The lt1 especially with a stock cam is falling way off at 6900

Troy Rombyer haven’t dyno’d the car since raising limiter to see the power loss past 6500 but may make those changes since Texas 2k is next week. It’s just convenient haven’t it raised for roll races cuz I can do 50’s in 2nd

svt89 yes that was the second pass in this video. Left hard but seemed delayed at beginning. 1st to 2nd gear change wasn’t normal seemed to slip. Seems to do that when the car leaves really hard.

Ron P i noticed that on the slicks they won’t move around that much if they are 25+ psi which is high for the track. But for rolls they’re good at that psi

2 Fast i agree it is more impressive but 1 my right arm is paralyzed so I don’t have the option to race a manual car anymore and 2 you probably make a lot more power than I do.
