Bommer 3029-5-633 Double Acting Spring Hinge
The 5" size is important not in terms of the length or the size of the hinge, but the most important is that is for doors that are 1-1/2" thick.
There is link with Template and Installation Instruction.On the Template there will be dimensions for entire hinge, overall sizes.
If you are installing this hinge in to a single door or double door application, the door must be square style, the door has to be pre fit.
The actual amount of prefit will be depended on rather or not your are going to mortise the door leaf to the edge of the door or not.
Includes wood screws, tension rod and pins.
There are guide lines in term on the weight of the door that hinge can handle.
The installation of this will be on at the top and one at the bottom, if you would do a 3rd hinge you want to install that right below that top hinge.
This is a very common hinge. Typical restaurant door.

hi i have a kitchen door hinged like this. However after a few months of daily use the door is now banging onto the door frame with a loud noise. This may even break the glass inset panel in the door let alone it not being a free swing now. How do i fix this please?

Hi. Could I use double hinges on a master bathroom double door? Each door is about 17 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" thick, lightweight hollow core type. They currently open one way, with 3 single hinges, and use these awful "ball latches" at top of each door. Very loud, clunky, and so the doors are usually just left partially open... never closed. Would love a double hinge action, so the doors could just swing shut. Hopefully this could work quieter and more conveniently than the ball latch. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Tyber my experience of these in an office (not necessarily this brand, but this style of hinge) is that they are not quiet. They tend to click as the door flip flops back and forth on the sprung hinges as it finds its resting position.
