Right off the bat. Did those two men just get captured and put into some sort of human trafficking situation and put on a boat and shipped to Hong Kong. That's crazy. That still goes on till today human trafficking and sex trafficking. According to even drug lords Americans are worth a lot more overseas then their best cocaine. Selling humans instead of drugs.

I think this basic story is "borrowed" from a Laurel & Hardy short where they were paid to shanghai drunk men in a saloon by knocking the men out with a heavy pot -- tossing them into a wagon. Then they're brought to a derelict steamer ship captained by a notorious vicious ugly captain everyone feared. The men were tossed into the ship's hold until they were out to sea. Kidnapped to work on the ship. That tavern shyster with the mustache is David White -- played Darrin's boss in the TV comedy Bewitched. That real big dude Busthead Brannigan that Hoss comes across is non-other than legendary horror-flick actor Tor Johnson. Too bad they didn't write into the script Tor passing by on the dock & helping Hoss & the Cartwrights. Would have been exciting. When Hop Sing introduces his Chinese friend to Hoss -- that's a young James Hong. He was the maitre d' on Seinfeld's famous episode where they never get a table in the restaurant & they're going to the movies. Ironically, the film they miss by waiting for that table in that episode is "Plan 9 From Outer Space," -- which co-starred Tor Johnson. Hong was also the evil guy in Kurt Russell's classic "Big Trouble In Little China." The bartender is character actor Herb Vigran -- who was a mobster in several "Superman" episodes with George Reeves.

The bicycle came to San Francisco during the last quarter of the 19th century. Like other places, it first developed based on wooden wheels, similar to those that were bearing stagecoaches and being drawn by horses. Horse-drawn streetcars were the predominant mode of transit in the 1870s, peaking in the 1880s, at a time when the individual horse was also still a major source of personal transportation... Google
