Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

The 'singer' isn't singing, he's a dancer. The producer, Frank Farian, did the vocals. Later he would be the producer/songwriter for Milli Vanilli. He was a strange character...

As an American who lived in the 70s but never heard of this band until I moved to Germany, it's amazing to find such a top tier disco band that I had never heard before. Try "Daddy Cool" as well.

Yes In W.Germany they were very big as well as in all Continental Europe.

The 70s was a weird decade. Us kids learned to just ride the wave cause no one could predict the next new thing or song. We didn't know how good we had it and thought it would last forever. This is what we called a novelty song. It is what it is. I like this one.

Boney M. is a Euro-Caribbean vocal group that was formed in 1976. I had their greatest hits album. This group had a lot of great songs such as "Daddy Cool", "Ma Baker", "Belfast", "Sunny", "Rivers Of Babylon", "No Woman No Cry", "Brown Girl In The Ring", "Painter Man", "Hooray! Hooray! It's A Holi-Holiday" etc. The videos are quite funny with Bobby Farrell's dancing.

When this song came out back in the day, when it came on in the Night Clubs, the dance floor was always packed! Great Song!

Boney M were good fun pop. A few were a bit sniffy about them, but they weren't considered serious music, just lively fun. The three women were the main singers really, and were happy to perform and take the money. The gent only added male vocals as they were needed, and I read that he was embarrassed to be associated with the group. He died just a few years ago. I'm impressed by how energetic he was in this live gig, I've only heard studio, radio plays. Yes loads of hits from them, about 10 top 10s and a couple of number 1s. Ma Baker - is great fun. Rivers of Babylon was a double A with Brown girl in the ring on the flip side. Mary's boy child was their Christmas hit Hooray, Hooray it's a holi - holiday is one of their last that got high in the charts You should listen to all of those just for the sheer exuberance that they generate. Please do more Boney M. They've been disregarded for too long.

Boney M is one of the greatest band ever. They ruled the 70s. And still is. Along with Abba.

Some of us learned of this song used in the Doctor Who episode "Power of the Doctor" (2022). Often that is how we learn of a song or music is if used in a film or TV show. It works if the scriptwriter and producer is skilled with applying either source or non-source music to scenes or characters.
