I was fishing in the same area early this morning. There was enough catching to keep things fun, but nothing like your day yesterday. Green seemed to be the color of choice. Im still trying to figure out the weights and the drift, I spent way too much time hung up. Either way, its still a great time!
@washingtonlifeАй бұрын
If you get snagged a lot it’s because your weight is too heavy or you’re letting it sink too far down and reeling in too slow. I tend to use half an ounce but it all depends on the movement of the water. If it’s moving too quickly I would use an ounce weight so it will help pull the dart down. If the current is pretty slow I always use half ounce. Yesterday I did not get stuck on any rocks and used the same dart all day. Hopefully this helps and glad to hear you had a good time today! Thank you for watching
@leroyskinner4206Ай бұрын
@@washingtonlife thanks! I think it might be my count. I was using 3/8 oz or a 1/2 oz egg sinker and my retrieve was pretty similar to yours in the video. However, I was giving it a 10 count on average. I'll try shortening that up a bit the next time I go and see how that does. Thanks for the reply!

Nice, do you think a Panther Martin or rooster tail will work?

Yes but it has to be a size 0 or 1. Any bigger the chance of them biting is very slim
