An aged gentleman I used to work for told me when he was young, quite young, a Clyde Barrow would hand him and his friends a nickle apiece and tell them to be on the lookout for cops while they were in a motel. The Duo would sleep in the last room to the left (North). When Bonny and Clyde were alerted to advancing police they would shimmy through the bathroom window into their waiting car in the ally and make their get away. The location is the Blue Bonnet Court Motel 4407 Guadalupe St. Austin Tx.
