Creating an 'Instant' Bonsai Tree

In a world that demands an ever-increasing level of instant gratification, bonsai seem to provide an antidote. Time and the seasons can't be sped up, and so patience is learned.
An 'instant' bonsai seems to be somewhat of an oxymoron, but bonsai from untrained material can be created in a very short space of time. As rewarding as it is to invest years into a tree, there is still an undeniable satisfaction gleaned from an occasional faster transformation, but that is always just the beginning of the journey!
I’m truly grateful for the response to the videos I’ve uploaded so far, and I’m working as fast as I can to keep producing them. Thank you for the patience and support. I am of course limited by nature and the seasons (and a bit of perfectionism too) but rest assured there are plenty more on the way. If you'd like to help out please consider supporting my Patreon:

"appreciation of nature" is that not an oxymoron in this case(or bonsai in general)? A bonsai is at heart (hu)mans arrogance and the need to control nature. A Bonsai itself is not "natural", appreciation of nature would be more like "not messing with it, or let nature run its course" etc.. Don't get me wrong it is some form of art and expression but it surely is NOT appreciation of nature.
@ishajac3637
@ishajac3637 Жыл бұрын
@@zn4rf Pick up a dictionary before u chastise someone. The word "appreciate" means "to admire" in this instance. It is not implied to mean a passive voyeur of nature. In this instance as long as one's ministrations are not meant to cause harm and have no hindrance of the species showing life, then one absolutely can "appreciate nature" and use specimens to express one's artistic talents. Now kindly carefully step down from your high horse. I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself in a fall.

Honestly, one of the most incredible things about this KZfaq channel is that the videos are basically also like bonsai. You can't just rush a video and pump one out every day.
