@@thesundayrides I must say, really impressed that you've managed to maintain the core look of the interceptor while modifying it in such a subtle way. Bike side profile looks immaculate and I'm sure only better things to come. I'm deliberating at the moment at treating myself to a new seat but it's a real battle for me between a suede tripmachine bench or the few options that Bonvent offer. Always hard to make a call without seeing them in person. Hopefully urban rider have something in stock 🙏🏼

@@TheContiGT it’s not easy to choose because both are great products. there is a great review of Trip Machine from Wild Moto but I am sure you saw it. If you want to see suede seat from Bonvent, ping me when you will ride up to Urban Rider. I am local and can pop up at a store to show their seat. Good luck choosing!

Hi Julien! Thanks! This part of the design could be improved in their next iteration as you are right, these types of buttons can unsnap. As seen in my other videos, this way of connecting the parts together doesn't provide a seamless and 100% flat seat (in comparison to the monolithic seat) either. However, I didn't feel like any of these issues was a real problem. It didn't look like I could lose the rear part in case it happens. There are two hooks on the back of the seat that slide into the metal rack. This part is quite secure. I think it will hold the seat in place even if the button unsnaps. I don't ride with the rear part unless I need it. I like how the bike looks more without it, but if I am using it, that means there is something or someone on top of it, which also keeps it in place. Hope it helps. I still have the seat, if you are in London, don't hesitate to come and see me to check out the seat.

Hello Thomas! Yes, I had the same issues and I nearly gave up. If I had metalworks tools and a proper workshop - it wold have been easier. But I was alone on the car park and was very frustrated. I wish I had someone by my side! The TEC silencers easily slid on the stock tubes, but not on TEC big bore pipes. Here is what I did. I removed the clamp and using the flat screwdriver enlarged the end on the silencer side, slid silencer as much as it can go (about 1-2 cm in my case) and used the pipe as a leverage to make the opening wider. I kept twisting and rotating the tube. If I remember correctly, there is an insert, that makes it hard to fit, but without it the clamp can't hold it. Another problem I had was to secure the middle section to the mounting point. The bolt wasn't long enough or the holes didn't match... but it was the second time when I cursed and nearly threw those pipes away. I managed it in the end... Don't give up! It could be done. If you are not too far from London SW, I can come and help.

@@thesundayrides Thanks for your reply mate! What you describe mirrors my own experience almost exactly. The Cannons would fit on the stock pipes perfectly, but not on the big bores...well only on one side. On the side that didn't fit, I had to remove the inner circular clamp/collar and then I used a spare baffle I had and pushed that inside. It seemed to have a thinner profile and allowed the silencer to fit on with a more secure fit than without the original collar thing. I also had an issue with the opposite side with the frame bolt as the fixing was not of the correct angle, so I had to hammer it into a better position to make it fit. Like you I was very frustrated and likewise I was doing this on my own on my driveway so had no-one to assist. I got there in the end though and I appreciate your offer of assistance (I'm in Hampshire so quite a way away from you!). One other issue I had was that I didn't disconnect the O2 sensor from the first pipe when I was trying to remove the stock header, and I accidentally ripped the wires out. So now I'm waiting for the replacement O2 sensor to arrive before I can even ride the bike. I wish I hadn't bothered! But it's all a learning experience I guess. @@thomascharnock same thing - I wish I didn't bother, it is one of the upgrades that I wish I didn't do and save money and time. But the learning experience is great and I am okay with that.
