The Blues Giant shares another gigantically useful lesson! Dancing wrists and oily fingers and stolen licks - it's going to be a great weekend. Blessings to all. Support this channel!

I prefer to hit a E right after the 2nd and before the 3rd figure. Makes it even more badasser, swingy, rumbling and wuhuuuu. Greetz from the other boogie playing fuchs in this world.

Christian you've done it again! Yet another EXCELLENT tutorial explaining a great left hand. Is this similar to one from Boogie Woogie Stomp? Marvellous tutorial! Thankyou for posting. 👍👍

Yes its the one! :-)

I don’t even have a piano yet, but I enjoy your videos so much that I can’t postpone my education in the art of black and white. You’re really talented when it comes to turning advanced music into digestable concepts. Many thanks and the best of wishes :)

Thanks Henric! You can. start onn a simple Ikea desk and then later replace it with a piano. Careful with the measurements!

Excelent, man! The chord with the 6 th remembers me a bit of Glenn Miller.
@ChristianFuchsBlues4 жыл бұрын
Yep its an old chord for the tonic.

Mein Gott Christian! You are such an inspiration, my mind is exploding 💥. I invented this L.H. several years ago (& patented it, of course 🤔...) So, to see it labelled “badass” warms the cockles of my heart. As I lack your talent, I’ve never got anywhere with my right Hans, so this is so welcome. Deepest Thanks. I’m a bit worried that you have hacked my ears, as you are constantly coming up with my favourite pieces, wonderful! I would write more, but my KZfaq hero (You!!) insists that I practise...auf wiedersehen Much love, M

So you are the second reincarnation of Albert Ammons. The patent offices open their horizon, great!

Really good video - you’re the only online teacher that worries about more than just the notes (absolutely LOVE the technique information). One small complaint - your dancing wrists were camera shy :(
@ChristianFuchsBlues4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I realized my wrists were a bit shy about dancing in public. I am sure everybody can identify...
@LS882314 жыл бұрын
Ok, one more complaint - with all your new videos, I can’t catch up on all the older videos! Lol.
@ChristianFuchsBlues4 жыл бұрын
Accepted! Just give me a wink, when I can issue the next one. Thats the least I can do.

Lol. And I look everyday for a new one!!! No self control here!

Yes, you are right. It needs some time... So far I only broke two fingers! LOL
@ChristianFuchsBlues4 жыл бұрын
That's a good cut. Most end up with 6 broken fingers and a broken leg.

Dear Christian, you would make my life so much easier if you would WAY slow down the groove when the hands are first brought together. For example, at 4:52 really play the hands chord for chord to see if they are together or separate when striking a note. I am aware of KZfaq’s feature to play vids slow motion but that doesn’t really do the trick for me as there tends to be some lag in sound. Still, I’ll keep marching on to see if I can master this lesson too. Thanks!

Hello Christian. Can I ask, how many left hand patterns do you favour when playing for your own pleasure?
@ChristianFuchsBlues3 жыл бұрын
I have 2-3 favs in each style. Boogie, Slow Blues, New Orleans, Rock etc.
@Lth563 жыл бұрын
@@ChristianFuchsBlues Thanks Christian. I’ve learnt 4 boogie patterns now & I think I’ll leave it at that for a while.

Christian, you're progressing as a tutor. Your LH C, F and G is terrific but you do NOT dwell enough on the RH licks that accompany the LH! Can you realise just how frustrating it is to see you play throughout this tutorial so easily and well but the enthusiastic student cannot see each note you play in your various RH licks? For those who have practiced and embedded your LH patterns in their noodles (this means "brains", Christian) can you maybe devote a seperate video on easy, simple RH licks to accompany your LH patterns please?
@ChristianFuchsBlues4 жыл бұрын
The thing is that its a left hand lesson with a bit on top. I have lot of lick lessons which you can all play on top of this left hand! Gotta categorize your lessons on KZfaq. If you write "all in here"! , no one will find it...

Is it ok if I do 5-5-31-5-31-5-31-42 instead? I'm not sure but it looked like you were doing 5-5-31-5-31-5-21-31.
@ChristianFuchsBlues4 жыл бұрын
If it feels better for you, why not. but stay with it forever. Thats the main thing.
@pietropoggi-corradini64074 жыл бұрын
@@ChristianFuchsBlues maybe your pattern is better when transposing to the key of D. I'll have to try that.
