My first official upload! Obviously I have very little experience with filming so please ignore all the beginner's kinks that I will (hopefully) work out, like the fact you can literally hear my camera focusing the entire time. 🤡 Hope you enjoyed this apartment tour and seeing something a bit more in-depth from me for once!

Your. Video just showed up on my feed, I love decorating just as you have which brought me to watch your video. I was ver surprised when you said you live in Holland! I am American, use to live in Holland and never came across a Dutch person that liked antiques or putting more than one picture on the wall. Even when they visit me here in the U.S.A. They voice how my things are old or I have too many things. I do not have a lot of books, I do have lots of Art. Thank you for showing your home, nice to know some Dutch like this style. This is the only type of maximalist design i can live with. Every item is related, the colors are pastel shaded, there is an overall theme and integrity (and the literary theme is just my taste, i have some classical romantic literary kind of design pieces as well). Very well made!

Your apartment is fab! I now see how books can be a way of painting. I love my books. They’re everywhere in my home. You’ve made me even more aware of how the presence of books is energizing. I hope you'll sonn feel better! You have such a beautiful place to call home and you've made the best of it. Simply amazing, thank you very much for sharing it with us. Also your town sounds really nice, I love old towns but I've never been to Dordrecht before despite living only 1 1/2 hours away from it. I'll definetly go there soon. Do you have any advise on where to relax, grab something great to eat or drink, where to get some nice books or where I can get some beautiful antique decorations?

Dordrecht is quite small so if you visit maybe you could do a combination visit with Rotterdam (which has my favourite bookstore, Donner)! But places I recommend in Dordrecht itself are Villa Augustus for the best organic food and beautiful Italian garden (especially in summer), Bluebirds in the Backyard for coffee in a gorgeous historical building, Pandora and the other store Pandorus for antique shopping and bookstore De Nieuwe Bengel which is small but charming. :)

I use special concrete nails for the picture frames! And the bookshelves are screwed in there with a drill haha, not sure exactly how my dad did it for me

I found out that there are no-kill mouse traps. Just catch and release. It's a small price to pay for a home with character. I find luxury homes so stale and uninviting. The minimalist aesthetic is depressing.

Great apartment, love the style, similar to mine, but get rid of those tarot cards and witch craft books, it will only bring evil into your place. Other than that, it's a beautiful space.

What a silly comment. Why should you assume witch craft is evil. It’s not. It’s more to do with the natural world and herbalism. They don’t fly about on broomsticks wearing pointy hats and turning people into frogs. As for the tarot cards, I’ve had a set in my house for years and there’s absolutely no evil here.
